Le programme jeunesse offre des activités sportives, récréatives et culturelles pour les enfants et les jeunes. Les activités se déroulent dans les écoles et dans la communauté.
In the Community
A new basketball team in Vanier!
With great enthusiasm, the youth team has brought together, for the first time in its history, a basketball team for youth aged 11 to 14 years old.
The team competes in games against other associations, as well as in local tournaments. Basketball is a team sport that supports players’ development at every level. At CSC Vanier, we’re simply passionate about the game! This program is completely free of charge.
Your first participation is your trial for the team.
Drop-in Basketball
This new program offers open basketball sessions for youth aged 11 to 15 at Assumption School. Come shoot hoops and play pick-up games with other players from the community.
This program is offered in collaboration with the Richelieu-Vanier Community Centre of the City of Ottawa.
Basketball for girls
This new program offers basketball time exclusively for girls aged 11 to 14 at Assumption School.
No reservation required!
This program is offered in collaboration with the Richelieu-Vanier Community Centre of the City of Ottawa.
Youth Space
Youth Space is a relaxed, positive, and safe gathering place for youth aged 13 to 17. Here, youth have the opportunity to build social connections, take part in recreational and cultural activities, and learn strategies to support positive mental and physical health.
The facilitator also shares information with the youth about opportunities for volunteering, activities for young people, and more.
Espace Jeunesse is free, and dinner is also included.
Activities during the holidays
The highly popular Jeunes Branchés program in Vanier offers a variety of activities and outings for children and youth during March Break as well as the summer break. Trained and certified facilitators (e.g., first aid and animation) organize activities that are available at several community sites, including the Vanier HUB
*Priority is given to children and youth who live in Vanier or attend a school in Vanier.
