The Partage Vanier Food Bank

The Partage Vanier Food Bank

The Partage Vanier Food Bank, located at 161 Marier Avenue, provides emergency food assistance once a month for Vanier residents. Here, a welcoming and dedicated team help residents in need of food or essential products.

The ongoing commitment of volunteers and local businesses, as well as the focus on quality and diversity of distributed food products, make Partage Vanier a safe space when you need help.

Harvesting for the cause

With the help of a group of volunteer gardeners, the Jardins Partage Vanier group cultivates fruits, herbs, medicinal herbs, and fresh vegetables. This helps us enhance food boxes with fresh and nutritious food.

In addition to the plots located at the Partage Vanier site, Just Foods provides agricultural land for gardening activities.

Book an appointment

If you have an urgent need for food and you are a resident of Vanier, you can make an appointment at the Partage Vanier Food Bank to receive a free food box that will last you about 5 days. Boxes are limited to one per month.

Schedule the pickup of your food box:

  • Pickup is by appointment only.
  • You must show a recent proof of address for each family member, as well as proof of address for adults (postal code K1L).
  • We encourage you to bring your own bags when picking up your food.
  • If you are unable to pick up the food yourself and have made an appointment, you can ask someone else to pick up your box by giving them your valid proof of identity.
