Better to prevent than to cure!
La Clinique juridique francophone d’Ottawa offers free workshops in inform individuals about their rights and responsibilities, quip them to make informed decisions, and prevent certain legal issues.
Some examples of topics:
- Common legal problems experienced by tenants;
- Permanent residency, sponsorship on humanitarian and compassionate grounds, etc.;
- Powers of attorney, wills, capacity, decision-making on behalf of others, and long-term care homes;
- Prevention of sexual harassment at the workplace.
